FAQ’s - Frequently Asked Questions

  • You can select “contact” in the menu on this site and after reading booking information just fill the form (include all requested information please). You can also send me a direct message on instagram. I will be back to you as soon as possible. This can take up to a 7 days.

  • Well, this entirely depends on what the size, placement and complexity of the tattoo are. Please see “contact” in the menu for information about what I need to know to be able to estimate rough time and price.

  • Every tattoo artist has a different level of skills, experience and business deal with their workplace. Some need to give larger cuts to their studio, and it is often up to 50-60% of their income. Like everyone else we need to pay tax, and buy high quality equipments also.

Some of the artists only doing tattoos for months, some for decades. Some will be quicker than others because of the experience and better understanding of the process, anatomy and style. The price should reflect that.

Some tattoos take longer to design and tattoo on the skin than others and/or require a higher level of understanding when it comes to application.

There are a lot of things to consider when pricing a tattoo so please understand that and try not to bargain prices. Most artists are happy to work with your budget anyway or do it a little cheaper when its something they really want to tattoo.

  • Avoid swimming pools, baths and sauna for at least 3 weeks, preferably 4 weeks to allow your skin to completely heal and recover.

  • Please allow at least 2 weeks before going to the gym or doing sports. This will give the skin enough time to heal and get the ink settled without sweating, stretching and traumatising the healing cells.

  • Deposits are completely non refundable, but I am able to move it once to a later date if you need your appointment rearranging. For this you must let me know at least 72 hours before the appointment, otherwise you lose your deposit and will have to pay a new one for a new appointment.

  • When possible please come to your appointment alone to avoid too many people being in a small space as I am working next to other tattooers and their clients. If you need the support of someone, do not bring more than one person, and please note they will not be able to sit next to you during the tattoo process. They will be asked to take a seat in the waiting area.

  • Unfortunately I am unable to do that due to a busy schedule, which allows me only to prepare for existing tattoo bookings. Please see “tattoos” in the menu to get an idea of the way my work looks, and heals. If you like it and you think it suits your idea, please do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss your tattoo or make a booking.

  • Depending on the size and intricacy of the design I start to prepare 1 week before the appointment, and finalise the design(s) the day before. I like to offer 2-3 options. Changes and adjustments can be made on the designs of course, if its needed.

  • Strictly no! It is illegal to tattoo anyone under 18 years old.

  • I do! My ink, the tattoo butter I use during the process and everything else is 100% vegan.

  • I personally deal with bookings, designing and tattooing, so please bear with me as I do this alone. I read messages daily when I am in the process of taking bookings for the next 3 months, but once all appointments are filled I read them less frequently. Maybe once a week, but I am always in touch with my clients for the upcoming week as I prepare for their appointments.

I read messages in chronological order, so sending multiple messages will get you further back in the queue, resulting in a later reply.

  • I do a couple of times a year. Please see events in the menu to see upcoming guest spots and tattoo conventions.

  • I can not, as its not mine to use. It is very disrespectful towards the client who wears the original tattoo and most likely asked for something unique and specific. It is also a design someone else worked on, so I can’t just steal it, use it and charge for it. No decent tattooer will ever do that! There are ways to come up with something new along the lines and take inspiration from the idea.
